# Troubleshooting

#### Broken title screen

This is almost always due to not adding the Prepatcher mod, or setting it up incorrectly.

If you can, use a mod installer such as [r2modman](https://thunderstore.io/c/hollow-knight-silksong/p/ebkr/r2modman/), which should set up Architect and all dependancies for you automatically.

If you have to install manually, first download the [Silksong Prepatcher](https://thunderstore.io/c/hollow-knight-silksong/p/silksong_modding/SilksongPrepatcher/), and extract the .zip file.

Inside you will find a 'plugins'  folder and a 'patchers'  folder.

Copy the contents of the plugins folder to your BepInEx plugins folder, and the contents of the patchers folder to your BepInEx patchers folder.

If you do not set up **both** of these correctly, you will encounter problems.
